Special osechi (traditional New Year’s dishes) will be featured at our breakfast buffet from January 1 (Fri.) to January 3 (Sun.)

We will be serving “daifukucha” (traditional New Year’s celebratory tea) at the tea counter on the 2nd floor.
【Jan. 1–3, 3:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.】
We will be serving “Matcha amazake (sweet fermented rice drink)” at the tea counter on the 2nd floor.
【Jan. 1 – Check-in~】
We will present you with an “onenga” (New Year’s gift) at check-in.

A “mizuhiki” (traditional paper cord craft) experience kit will be available at CHAYA 1899 TOKYO. Show your completed creation at the shop to receive a ¥100 discount.

We offer free rentals of traditional Japanese toys, including kendama, origami paper, and otedama (bean bags), at the front desk.
Breakfast
Special “osechi” (traditional New Year’s dishes) will be featured at our breakfast buffet from January 1 (Fri.) – January 3 (Sun.).
We will provide one “Osechi Plate” featuring an assortment of 6 traditional New Year’s dishes per guest.

Japanese tea service brewed in front of you
Guests can enjoy matcha, sencha and seasonal teas at the tea counter on the second floor. Upon request, one of our “tea sommeliers” will prepare the tea right in front of you.
- 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Matcha ※Please note that only “Daifukucha” (traditional New Year’s celebratory tea) will be served on January 1 (Fri.).
- 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Matcha, sencha, seasonal tea and matcha amazake (sweet fermented rice drink) is available January 1 (Fri.) to January 3 (Sun.) only.
